Danger Danger

The militarization of federal agencies for political purposes is a major cause for concern for all Americans. During the last few years, hostility has grown between both sides of the political aisle. The Left has grown more liberal, and most of the right has embraced Donald Trump who is an extremely polarizing figure. The Covid 19 pandemic furthered this massive political chasm with masks or no masks, vaccine or no vaccine. Many governors declared State of Emergencies which greatly expanded the power of the governor. All of these components compounded together has caused vitriol between the right and the left. The United States is ripe for tyranny. In today’s Cancel Culture society, freedom from speech is practiced more than freedom of speech or fear of being a castoff. One accusation is made against an individual (see Brett Kavenaugh), and he is decried as sexist without the burden of proof. We are seeing the destruction of what made America great, and that was the character of her people. Our culture has become a “cancer culture” where we report our neighbors, call the police on those who disagree with us, and throw around monikers, labeling people. This is not productive, nor intellectual. Such polarization has crept all the way up to our top executive leader and face of our country, our President.

Federal agencies are the single most undemocratic bureaucracy in our nation. Agencies do not have to answer to Congress, they have their own courts, and they are appointed by public officials. In theory, the majority party could hire every person who worked inside an agency. Under President Obama and Director James Comey, the FBI has become increasingly liberal. Eleven of former President Trump aides and government officials have been arrested for petty crimes while Hillary Clinton deleted classified emails and was never intensely investigated. The FBI also collaborated with the Clinton campaign to push that Donald Trump’s campaign collaborated with Russia. According to downhill.com, “Marc Elias, architect of the Russia collusion hoax — who hired Fusion GPS to produce the fake dossier about President Trump, which led to illegal FISA warrants against Trump campaign officials and a lengthy Special Counsel investigation — and noted attempter of election rigging, claimed that the "media is missing the really, really big reason why the raid today is a potential blockbuster in American politics.” We see that Marc Elias designed this Russia Hoax to get Hillary Clinton elected. “ The whole time, Marc Elias was collaborating with the FBI. It’s abundantly evident that the FBI has become an unmonitored, partisan institution that is unaccountable, and therefore, extremely dangerous. That is why I believe we should abolish the FBI.

Self-love or self-destruction?

   Written by Sean Tyson

I am twenty-one years old. The TV shows I watched when I was 5-12 years old, would always emphasize the importance of being yourself. A very appropriate message for an audience whose self-identity is in its most turbulent and vulnerable stage. The tragedy today is that the entertainment and even the education system for our children is instilling an idea of self-denial, self-hate, and nihilism.

The “Muppet Babies” is a children’s TV show. We all know the Muppets. In a relatively recent episode, one of the characters, Gonzo the Great, wore a dress and identified as “Gonzo-rella.” The producers actually thought having one of the characters wear drag was an appropriate plot point for a kids TV show.

CNN published an article titled “Nonbinary characters like 'Gonzo-rella' are lighting up children's TV and encouraging self-acceptance.” Does “Gonzo-rella” and archetypes like him, actually promote self acceptance? No. Humans are physical beings. The human body develops from a tiny zygote to a fully developed adult that can eventually produce a family. Nature’s plan is God’s plan. Our bodies have purposes, they have functions. Our flesh is corrupted, but our eyes perceive, our DNA organizes and structures, and our lungs breathe. We’ve observed these operations.

What about our thoughts? The human brain is an organ just as the heart or liver is. The brain can have diseases and psychological disorders. The brain can observe the natural world and deny it. An anorexic person can look at himself and say “I am obese.” Are fully functioning adults supposed to accept that they are obese? No, they are not.

We should not endorse the self-denial and self-hate of children. There is evil and destruction in promoting or strongly hinting at “gender fluidity.” Destroying the bodies of children through “gender affirming care” is at its definition destructive of the human body, the genesis of which is the destruction of gender norms. The “left” doesn’t stop at the aesthetic or superficial. No, they want total control over human existence.

Humans know that they have human biology. We’ve willingly praised human desire and vanity over order. We can no longer live within the parameters of God's creation so we must cross the sea of oblivion, regardless of those who are swallowed as the walls of reality collapse.

No Justice/No Peace?🤔

Warning: (This blog may be very unpopular and not what people want to hear, but I believe it needs to be said.)
I have been very vocal about my disapproval of the murder of George Floyd. Let me repeat that it was horrible, and there needs to be police reform. But, I believe we need justice for the individuals who were murdered in the riots. This story has gone on the back burner. Those rioters should face the same fate as Derek Chauvin and the other three police officers. This is unbiased, unprejudiced justice. Justice cannot be partial. Whether white or black, civilian or law enforcement, male or female, everyone should be able to be judged fairly.
I’m also afraid right now that people are assuming others to be guilty before being proven innocent. I believe every individual should be given the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. Derek Chauvin was proven guilty through the video, but most police officers are not Derek Chauvin. I’m seeing a dangerous trend that “handcuffs” police officers. I saw a police officer (through video) being assaulted by rioters, and he did absolutely nothing. Stores are being looted and burned, and police are doing nothing because they are told to stand down. Is this what we want? Do we want the police officers to do nothing? We shouldn’t let the atrocity of four men dictate our thinking on the police force as a whole.

I’m for all the peaceful protests where people are protesting racial injustice, but I believe more people need to openly condemn the shooting and assaulting of police officers and civilians like David Dorn. When our officers are being hurt, it hurts us, and justice cannot be rightfully reached. I counter there is no justice without peace.

Silent…Unspoken…Unheard=Hurt

Silent….unspoken…unheard…These are three words that describe how many African Americans feel today. The murder of George Floyd stirred up these “bottled up” feelings that have been brewing for decades. As a human being, it hurts to see another human being begging for breath, begging for air, begging for his mother, and seeing those cries squashed right into the ground. It equally hurts to see three other men, who see this unfolding, do absolutely nothing. What adds to this already great tragedy is the man who committed the murder is supposed to be the one who upholds the law.

For years, tension has been building between the African American community and the police for “targeting.” A black man or woman should feel just as safe to walk in the street as a white man or woman, but sadly, this is not the case. The prejudice of a few have impacted the safety of an entire community.
The murder of George Floyd brings to light that racism still exists and that there is a need for police reform. Police should be taught to only shoot when another life or their life is legitimately in danger.
During this time, peaceful protests are a good way to fight social injustice. People need to speak out and fight for what they believe in; however, looting and arson should never occur. Two wrongs never make a right. Looting, arson, and shooting police officers is anarchy. Punishing the whole police force for the actions of four men is wrong. I also want to clarify that these are radical groups. Most people are protesting peacefully, and I applaud them.
In conclusion, we need to ask ourselves “How can I peacefully fight racism?” “How can I help my community?” “What can I do?”

1 Corinthians 12:13- “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

Memorial Day: Remember and Honor?

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  -John  15:13

About 200 years ago, in 1776, our founding fathers met together in Philadelphia to write the Declaration of Independence. This document helped form the nation we know of today as the United States of America; however, many, as a result, sacrificed their lives so that future generation like ours could have the freedom that they devotedly fought for. From the War for Independence to the Civil War, from World War I to World War II, many have willingly fought and defended our country knowing they may never return home.
Every year, we as Americans take the time to honor and remember those who sacrificed their lives so that we can continue to have the liberty that our founding fathers envisioned when they sacrificed so much. Sacrificing is not an easy thing to do. It takes a humble and loving heart to leave the comforts of home, the company of loved ones, and the commodities of this nation to go and fight for the continued freedom of our country. The same humble and loving heart that past and present soldiers have shown daily is just like the heart Jesus Christ showed when He willingly died for mankind on Mt. Calvary.
Just like the church is to remember and honor our Savior, may we never forget to honor the sacrifice and devotion of those who have served, and those who are serving our nation today. Let us choose to remember that “freedom is not free”. Remember to glorify our Savior and honor His memory by honoring and remembering those who have died so we can be free. Remember and honor—never take for granted the sacrifices for our liberty.

Should Safety Replace Liberty? 🇺🇸 (Part 3)

Silent…Powerless…Non-Existent…These are the words that describe an authoritarian form of government. These are the words that will describe us if we don’t stay active and engaged in our government. During this crisis, we must pay attention. Our founding fathers were aware of the events of their day. They knew when laws were passed. They knew they had no representation in Parliament, and they chose to fight the injustice. As a result, the United States was born.

Today, most Americans are ignorant. The Constitution of the United States means absolutely nothing to your average American. As a result, inherited freedom can be taken away when a difficult situation or circumstance arises. Millions of Americans are afraid to leave their houses. They are afraid to go to work all because of a virus. This fearful or uneducated group is trading their freedom for temporary safety, and, in the process, they have caused their freedom to be only temporary. 🤔
You must ask yourselves a few questions. Is freedom only reserved for the pleasant times? Is freedom only temporary? My answer to both of these questions is a resounding NO! If freedom is only temporary, you are neither free or safe. As Patrick Henry said, “Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery.” I hope we can say with him, “Forbid it All Mighty God!” 🙌
The vast majority of people today are shortsighted. They don’t think about the next generation. What we do today impacts our tomorrow. What we do today sets a precedent for the future. I want to be able to experience the same America my parents experienced, and likewise, I want my future children to experience the America I have known and loved. This is OUR time in history. This is our book—our chapter. We cannot let safety replace liberty.

Be informed. Be aware. Be FREE.

Be informed. Be aware. Be FREE.

Should Safety Replace Liberty? 🇺🇸 (Part 2)

Two hundred and fifty years after the Boston Massacre, a different crisis is raging. This crisis is not a war waged with swords or guns, nor a war of words, but rather a war of ideologies. One side believes that shutting down non-essential businesses is the best way to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The other group believes that the results of an economic shut down will cause economic problems for years as well as loss of lives down the road. Studies show that, during times of economic crisis, suicide increases. Finances directly impact people. The problem is not different ideologies. The problem is government control.

When a governor or any leader can directly violate the laws of the land through an executive order, there is a problem. I don’t care if it is during war, a depression, or a virus; oftentimes, dictators rise to power in difficult times. Adolf Hitler rose to power in Germany fifteen years after World War I. Germany was going through a recession caused by the Treaty of Versailles. Little by little, Hitler whittled the freedom of Germans away until everyone who disagreed with him was either killed or sent off to a concentration camp. “Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.” - Martin Niemoller

Just because we live in America does not mean we are exempt from having our freedoms permanently taken away from us. During this virus, many governors and leaders have directly violated the Constitution and the oaths they swore when they took office. When a governor states that the Bill of Rights “is above his pay grade,” there is a serious problem. 😬 If the Bill of Rights is not being considered, I beg to ask, “Who makes the laws? Who enforces the laws? What are the laws?” 🤔 Simply put, the law is the words of man that can change one season to the next. We need to stand for our Bill of Rights. We need to stand for our Constitution. WE MUST STAND! We must hold our leaders accountable. Should safety replace liberty? 🗽

Should Safety Replace Liberty? 🇺🇸 (Part 1)

Two hundred and fifty years ago, a crisis was brewing. A colony was starving. Men were yearning for ONE idea. Some called it impossible. Others called it anarchy, but the brave called it…FREEDOM. In early 1770, this seemingly unrealistic concept started taking root in America.

On March 5, 1770, the infamous Boston massacre occurred. This day was the culmination of bad blood between the soon-to-be-called Patriots and the British soldiers. Since 1767, the colonists had been unlawfully taxed by King George III through the Townsend Acts. These acts placed taxes on imports such as paper, paint, lead, glass, and tea. It also gave the British soldiers the right to search colonists’ houses and businesses. All of these acts were passed without any representation from the thirteen colonies; hence came the slogan, “No taxation without representation.”
Bostonians were upset. Over two thousand British soldiers occupied the city forcing unlawful taxes on the people. Finally, the proverbial match was struck, and a riot broke out between the colonists and the British soldiers. In the end, five colonists lost their lives. As most know, the Revolutionary War started soon thereafter. Many victories were won, but many lives were lost in the process.
Today, we are not dealing with bloodshed, but the torch of Liberty has been passed on to us. What will we pass on to our posterity? We must ask ourselves, “Should Safety Replace Liberty?”

The Censorship of Religious Content on Social Media 🤐

Have you ever thought what it would it would be like to have no voice? 🤐 I know I have, and I think it would be absolutely terrifying. What is worse is the censorship of religious material on the world's largest social media platform…Facebook. Currently, the social media giant has 2.6 billion accounts; many of whom are people of different faiths. During this time, we need our faith more than ever before. Several Sundays ago, Facebook started a nefarious precedent in censoring religious content. 😢 For many people and churches, the only way to have a live service or share Biblical content is through social media platforms. One blog that I know, JesusOut-Loud.com, was censored for violating Facebook’s “community standard.” Over 240 articles of content, including shares, were eliminated from the blog’s Facebook page.👀 I am currently subscribed to the blog, and there is nothing in the blog that is “misinformation or false news.” Simply put, Facebook is discriminating against those of faith. 😤 Eventually, Facebook restored all of the content, but it is scary that our voice can be taken away in a flash. We, as Christians, need to stand up to the social media giants, and let them know that Biblical content is important.
